Bal des Rêves 4th edition
Thursday June 5th 2025
An exceptional evening in the service of the Ocean, on the eve of the UNOC 3 Congress in Nice.
This year, the Bal des Rêves® brought together leading figures from institutions, civil society, associations and the arts, on the eve of the United Nations Ocean Congress (UNOC 3). The organizers of this unique evening are pleased to announce that 25,045 euros were raised for the Tara Ocean Foundation.
This 2025 edition - in the presence of Jean Leonetti, Mayor of Antibes - Juan-les-Pins - was held at the Belles Rives, an exceptional venue on the Côte d'Azur: offshore, the schooner Tara shone brightly. The evening brought together over 150 participants committed to a common goal: to support the Tara Ocean Foundation, France's first charitable foundation dedicated to the ocean, working to better understand and protect the marine world through science, education and advocacy.
The Bal des Rêves® 2025 highlighted the crucial challenges of preserving the oceans, in an international context marked by climate change and biodiversity loss. The festive event featured inspiring speeches by Romain Troublé, Managing Director of the Tara Océan Foundation; Annick de Marffy, Past President for Ocean Affairs & Law of the Sea United Nations Office; Odile Hembise Fanton d'Andon, Co-Founder of Société Acri and President of Acri-St; and Claudine Lorang, Co-President of Féminin Pluriel Global.
